I wouldn't be surprised if it was the case....politics are dirty business and if anyone is under the impression their government won't do something like this over political problems and issue statements expressing regret right after, they are being delusional...the probability is always there

Sovereignty is only a right where the government of a domain is democratically elected though, and currently, that is not the case in Iran.

the UK and USA allie themselves with vile regimes all over the world...they are both hypocritcal scum, one nation with a genocidal dictator like leader gets arms and cash, the other gets bombed...even then they fail as they bomb more civilians than there supposed targets...largely as both breed a culture of imperialism and aryanism, that they and there people alone have value and all others are pawns to be exploited or executed at the whim of these nations.
