The BNP are lefties noddy just like yourself and the National SOCIALIST party.

They want as much state interference in our lives as you do.

economically? I guess.

socially? they are FAR right.

I am a Democratic Socialist, I believe in Internationalism and making a better World, I am not even remotley nationalistic or any of that bs, heck, many of us Democratic Socialists dont consider Nationalists to be "true" Socialists, largely as many core values of Socialism are inherentley anti-nationalism...

Actually, BNP are a far right fascist organisation. The fact that they have some 'socialist' tendancies does not make them socialist.

the Nazi Party were the National Socialist Party (National-Socialist Arbeitz Partei), but they were also a fascist organisation and therefore right wing.

Cameron is a smarmy condesending c**t.

the "big society" is utter dross to hide privatisation and shafting of the poor.

the cuts will devestate much of the UK and young people in particular may never recover from it.

well done Tory Scum, you acheieved what Hitler failed, you have begun the anhilation of the UK.

Actually he is trying to save the UK from the bloodshed and pain casued by the last government. Do you really need to compare Cameron to Hitler...?

If you have debt it's in my opinion best to pay it off as quickly as possible before it inflates, paying over 30 years or whatever is just going to lump more costs onto the overall bill. Why is it we have the largest budget defecit in the G20? Was that the Conservatives? NoddyHolder, your just critical of pretty much everything...

1) bullshit, he can do that in different ways that dont screw the nation and its people over.

2) I didnt say they were to blame? I know Labour are just as bad (Capitalists too).

3) they need to pay down the debt, sure, but they can at least do it over a longer period (not 30 years obviously, that would be insane, im thinking more like 8-10 years)

Ok...who would you vote for then? If even the left centre labour are not socialist?

Labour are Centre Right...everyone who knows even a basic amount about UK politics knows that.

I would vote for the Socialist Party, I think I linked to there site for someone else earlier in the thread, if not, I can do so again for you.

Communist Party-------------------------Liberal Democrats---Labour---Conservatives-------------------------BNP

Even someone with a basic grasp of UK politics knows that.

clearly not.

Socialism is not the same as Communism btw...

okay, lets start with the Left: from most left to least

Socialist Party------------------------------------------Green Party----------------------------------

now the right: from most right to least

BNP----UKIP--------Conservatives---Labour------Liberal Democrats------------------------

Sorry chief, just to correct you, Liberal Democrats are centre liberal, while Labour Party are a centre socialist party, and therefore:

Socialist Party ---------------- (Old) Labour -- (New) Labour -- LibDem -- Tory --- UKIP ------------------- BNP

The Labour Party were built on the socialist principles of workers rights and welfare - a watered down version of the socialist principles that fit the capitalist democracy of the UK while representing the rights of the working class.

(whether or not that are still honest to those principles under 'New Labour' is a different argument)

I wouldn't disagree with you to a large extent, I am an active Labour supporter and i still believe in those orignial principles that the Labour Party were built on, there are still plenty of us who believe in workers rights, the role of the state in supporting those who need support.

Not pure socialist (at least, not any more), but its a choice to support democracy.

Cuba? Beloruss?

I wouldn't want to class North Korea as socialist though.

Are the above countries mentioned prospering from this political way?

Anyway, I see Labour as socialist.....my definition varies to you guys.

Cuba maybe, but not the same kind of Socialism as I would advocate.

your definition would be wrong then, look up Socialism on a decent site and you will see.

"The Labour Party is a democratic socialist party. It believes that by the strength of our common endeavour we achieve more than we achieve alone, so as to create for each of us the means to realise our true potential and for all of us a community in which power, wealth and opportunity are in the hands of the many, not the few, where the rights we enjoy reflect the duties we owe, and where we live together, freely, in a spirit of solidarity, tolerance and respect."

Probably not exactly a definition of socialism, it also doesn't even mention 'socialism' at all.
