Here it's not a problem, like... the parents all seem to have racial preferences and kids get occasional eye-rolls for racial mis-matches, but they seem to realize that well, you can't really stop it, and just hope it breaks up without saying anything...
There are some parents who will not allow certain races period, but that's a more of a black-white or white-black thing, not asians, lol.

No, it's not, to the best of my knowledge. I'd have a good idea of the situaiton: my wife is Taiwanese (you could argue Chinese on her mother's side I suppose), while I am about as big a honky as you can find.
You may be imagining things. Unless your girlfriend looks really young.
