Final Fight is one of the most likely, and Street Fighter games.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

I think it'll mostly be CPS and pre-CPS stuff like the Final Fight, GnG games, Strider, 194X games, SF2 games, etc. I just hope they get to early CPS2 stuff like Captain Commando and DarkStalkers, it's entirely feasible within Virtual Console's memory restrictions and we're getting plenty of NeoGeo games from the same period (Samurai Showdown 1-2, Metal Slug 1-2, Waku Waku 7, KOF94/95, etc).
Then again, looking at how (awfully) Sega (almost no games) and Namco (almost no games for America/Europe) have handled VCA doesn't exactly inspire confidence. :/

I don't think 'heart' has all that much to do with it honestly, VCA is a Capcom Japan initiative and they don't really seem to care about XBLA/PSN anymore than they do Wiiware (so far they've only done MegaMan 9-10 on any of the services). The DD platform they've been most active on is... well, Virtual Console. And a lack of N64 RE2 probably has more to do with Nintendo than Capcom, given only one 3rd party N64 game is even on the service (Ogre Battle 64). The one licensed Capcom arcade property I'd really love to see on VCA, but am pretty sure won't happen, is the D&D brawlers. |
Capcom has released many games on PSN/XBLA or am I missing something here??

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

Capcom USA has, they're all Capcom USA productions (though some have gotten eventual Japanese releases). Capcom Japan has only done MegaMan 9-10 so far, and they're across all the console DD services.
Capcom Japan is also in charge of Virtual Console and PS Archives/Classics releases, which is where they've seemed to focus their support really.

Oh OK, but I think patjuan was talking about Capcom in general, at the end of the day Capcom Japan are the ones that give any project the greenlight.

Sure, but Capcom Japan are producing everything for VCA. To consider what's been made under their guidance this gen that's already made it to America...
XBLA/PSN
WiiWare
Virtual Console
PS Classics
