Yes because it's a great idea to put a game like Centipide on retail...... It makes perfect sense.
It appears Atari’s Haunted House remake for Wii and Xbox Live Arcade is just the start of Atari 2600 revivals.
In addition to Haunted House, Gamefly lists Star Raiders and Centipede. Star Raiders is a Wing Commander style shooter. Centipede probably doesn’t need an introduction. According to the online rental hub, Star Raiders and Centipede are in development for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
If Gamefly is right, and they have a pretty good track record, both titles will be retail releases.
Don't get me wrong probably an action adventure game with huge bugs and HD graphics'll be cool; but the core game of Centipide on HD belongs to PSN, Wiiware or XBOX Live
