That's priceless I didn't get that insanity effect.

Yeah, I never got that one.
There is no such thing as a console war. This is the first step to game design.

Biggest problem with the sanity meter is that it was hard to get to the point where you would be insane. It only happened a few times while playing on Normal and wished it happened more. If you read about the sanity effects that have been documented on the faq, theres some really far out stuff. One I remember distinctly is the game pretends to reboot the game and shows the Silicon Knights logo followed by a bit of the opening video. I almost cried when that happend cause I put in a few hours during that play. |
When that happened to me I got up and turned the GC off! Not until later did I realize what had happened. It was in an interview about the game with SK. I just started laughing my butt- off. I lost a good 3 hours worth of game play that way.

Hey it's not too late.
Oh but of course I did. One of the best games of the last generation. Too bad no one really played it.

Damn, i wish i had a link for you but Silicon Knights or Nintendo (dunno, don't recall correctly) pattented somekind of name with Eternal and Eternity in it: Possibilities: Eternal Eternitty Etternity Darkness etc...
Nintendo'd be stupid not to get this one exclusive cuzz Silicon and Ninty are close and ED is important for the Wii's 08-09 line-up! |

Only thing about that is without SK what kind of game will it be? Is Nintendo realy going to make that type of a game with out a 2nd party to hide behind? But the title could be anything. Of course they could take out Alex and replace her with LUIGI. I would kill them, but they could.

I played it quite a lot .It was truly great ,although the charachters could have used some more polygons ...that showed a bit that the origin of the game was the N64 .In any case a brilliant game and one of the best of the Cube .
I loved this game, even though i never finished it. I remember once i was just walking along, and the TV turned off. I was so confused; i actually went up to the television and banged it on the side because i thought it was bust.
Then i heard the scream:
"This can be happening!"
what a class game.
tk1989, when I read people's posts I always imagine their avatar saying it. Imagining that baby banging on the side of a TV because of an ED sanity effect made me laugh out loud.
