Grand Theft Auto - I played a little at a friend's house, but I didn't have a PS2 and never got around to getting the Xbox ports, I think I'll get the new one coming out though.

Tons and tons of these for me:

Gran Turismo: Don't like racing
Grand Theft Auto: Hated GTA 1, never played since, not my style of game at all
Madden: Don't like Football
Kingdom Hearts: Don't like RPGs
Ninja Gaiden: Don't like action games

I'm still a very PC-centric gamer, so a lot of the console-heavy genres just don't appeal to me. I also don't like single player FPS.  

You could get GTA III for PC, is a good game, and would be cheap as chips.

1. GTA - Not my style of game. I feel bad when I beat the shit out of bitches and hoes. And cops. And random people.

2. Grand Turismo - Realistic racing ain't my style. I'll take Burnout anyday.

3. FF - Just never got around to play any of them. I played a bit of 6 on my friend's SNES back in the mid-90's and liked it, though.

And plenty more...

 I like pretty much every genre of game besides realistic racing sims, so if I haven't played a series, it's simply because I overlooked it.

I play what are commonly referred to as "casual" titles (I am really pumped for Wii Fit, I love Wii sports, I enjoy-but-do-not-love Brain Training), I play some Rhythm games, some party games, some off beat games (I'm really excited for Afrika and Endless Ocean), I love puzzle games (Portal was my GotY).

I play First Person Shooters professionally (although, that's a stretch now: I haven't been to a tourney in 6 months), I play MMOs, and I love love love RTS. I play sim games and all sorts of strategy games, such as Civilization. 

See? I play stuff, as I just named about 10 genres. I just hate typical console fare. Seriously, I hate action/RPG/driving/sports games with a passion. 

I often stray away from things popular, so most franchises to be honest, however i played some OoT at my friends house once (i was sceptical) and loved it.
i never played a mario game besides Kart until last summer
mario kart i only got into because my sister also had an N64 (before i sold mine for £30, then bought hers for £10 )
I do have GTA3 for PC

basically those are the only huge franchises i have played (ok if you include played i did have a couple of goes on a Gran Tourismo game)

There's way more too. The answer as to why I haven't played them is one of the following:
-Don't have the money to buy it
-Don't have the system to play it (relates back to #1)
-My computer isn't good enough to run it since my graphics card burnt out (relates to #1 and #2)
-Just not interested

I have the same list and reasons as takeru51, minus Final Fantasy...

 Ah. I used to play AoE2 on a semi-pro level. I'm also pretty decent at CS1.6(Or at least I was a year ago. lol)

On the FPS and RTS side of things i'm waiting to get TF2 and Starcraft 2. Until then i'm playing WoW. =P I'm mainly a PC gamer, but I do like my racing, action, RPG, sports, and platforming titles. I can't stand FPS/RTS on consoles, however.
