If you're claiming that she's the most musically artistic, you need to support that argument.  What has she done for art and/or music that hasn't been done before?  Or what has she revived that was being underappreciated?  Or what has she revamped or mixed together in a new interesting way?  Why should anybody care about her in 5, 10, or 20 years?  Because her team of producers, designers, and marketers made her rich?  Because she has wacky costumes?  I'm not seeing it.  Maybe she's very rich, very successful, and a great entertainer, but I'm not seeing anything new at all.

Excuse me? Taylor is one of the best selling artists in years.. Count the Grammy awards. She also has more vocal and writing ability than John Lennon himself. She is the perfect shiny image of a living legend.

Not really, she just went crazy after her first attempt at making it big (as her boring self) failed and constructed a silly persona that lures young teens and children into thinking she's edgy and original. People have made music far longer that the last three to four years, there are certainly other artists/bands that are leagues ahead of these two examples.

^Which bands? I can't remember the last successful Band who has had as many #1's as quick as these two. Linkin Park is probably the most recent successful band. Rock music/Bands are dying.
