I tried searching the forums, but all it does is a user search. Can I still do a forum search? If so, can someone walk me through step by step, how exactly to do that?

Yes it is gone. You can use Google to search for a certian forum. Don't ask me why they got rid of it. It is a simple feature every forum should have.... -_-
