how come i reported kowenicki for his sly attempts at having a go at downplaying gt5 sales and he still is not banned, what bothers me is I'm quite new here, but already I have noticed it is cool for anti-sony stuff to get posted here, it's thing's like that that makes a site that reports sales data look bad....

just thinking out aloud, and I hope I don't get banned just for speaking my mind

You reported him for debating poorly? I don't feel that there was anything said in that thread that warranted reporting, let alone a ban, to be honest.

No one will ban you for speaking your mind though, of that you can be sure (unless Brett is drunk and his team just lost a game... ).

so saying that gt5 sales would diminsh from being advertised on top gear is ok?? i'm pretty sure the rules did not allow that one?? not to mention he drags on his so called debate over numerous pages, I can understand if he wanted to make a point, but he actually dragged it out for so long and upset a lot of gt5 fans in there, I'm just saying how would you like it if it was mario kart, or forza, think how you would feel, that is all for now...

"Note that there is a difference between having a reasonable argument in the correct thread and trolling."

It was a GT thread, discussing the potential impact on sales Top Gear would have if/when it showcases it. He thinks it would have little to no impact and argued his case. Totally on-topic and he explained his argument, albeit slightly disingeniously at one point. I'm not sure what you think is wrong with that other than that you disagreed...  in which case you can debate the matter with him in the thread, which presumably is what happened to make it stretch on for so long.

I stopped reading that thread ages ago, but that's how it was when I left it, and I haven't received any new reports since to suggest Kowen started breaking rules after I left.

fair enough then.

why would you even want to do such a horrible thing?

let mods find the offensive posters like it was in 07-08 around here posters werent getting banned left and right for small offenses back then like they are now

unless someone really personally offended you, you shouldnt be reporting users imo

Because the amount of users is a lot bigger maybe also a lot more activity and mods don't check every thread?
