Okay so heres my idea. Take a motion-sensing camera like the Microsoft Kinect and build it into a 3D TV. Not only will it make it easier to browse the TV without a remote, but it also has voice recognition via a built-in microphone. Video conference, voice-chat, and 3D-support will all be included. I know this idea isn't too far-fetched because a 3D TV and motion-sensing camera are already found separately, or soon to be in Kinect's case, on the market.

I think I've seen this done already. It was Primesense (?) who use a time of flight camera to control various functions through your TV, and I believe it is compatible with 3D TV also. But the two units are seperate, perhaps integrating them wouldn't be too far off.

I can't wait for RGB-D cameras to become more common, because I have a million things I would like to do with them.
