Question is, will there be enough of a consumer base, who are core gamers.. AND own a PS3, AND want motion controls, AND don't already own a Wii?

Nobody is going to buy a PS3 just for Move, so needs to focus its marketting on its existing user base, and I'm not sure there is a huge market for more core based motion controls. Besides, Nintendo is already bringing motion control to the core domain, and it's called Zelda: Skyward Sword.

I have been seeing the core bash motion control on here over and over.  I am curious, even if Move works real well, if the core market would end up buying it.

There's quite a big diffrence beetween motion controls coming in underpowered 480p capable console with extremly limited supply of titles worth buying, which is sold at astronomical prices and motion controls added for proper console with huge existing library of games and support for good amount of games worth playing.

lol.  That line's pretty rich given the announced Move lineup so far.  The herdcore may lament Wii's portfolio, but even it's announced pre-launch lineup absolutely slaughters what Sony's trying to peddle Move with...

Then you need to read up more on the line up of games cuz clearly you don't seem to know much of it

and how is that bad for a peripheral in contrast to a console launch? :S I mean really? and trust me after TGS and GC that list will be longer as well

ps: might wanna remove those 'cancelled' titles from the wii line up as well, kinda of useless for them to be there no?

I just included *everything* announced at the time, and what eventually became of the projects ... shit happens and games get canceled sometimes.   As is, I doubt anyone's shedding a tear over not getting Epoch's (probably a Doreamon) game.

Looking at that Move lineup though, I can see plenty of hardcore tears in the making.  Ditto for the (even worse) Kinect lineup.

Btw from that awesome fun list of win, what does these stand for

TBA title (Namco Bandai) could've become any number of games? ?

Nice defense, moving from essentially "you clearly know little about the lineups" to "why even compare lineups?".  Before we really get started I'm just going to ask, how far do you plan to Move those goalposts?

Also, who's to say all those Move games will release?  I'm not comparing actual releases, I'm comparing a relative snapshot of the announced lineups at the same point and time.  If Sony's claim is really that they're bringing Motion to the core, maybe they should've stayed awake the past 4 years?

It's more a list of PWN.  And you really need me to explain what "could've become any number of games?" means?  Are you ESL or something?

i think the important thing to note here is he mentions the word core games but does mention any specific core games.

how many times are we told something and yet never recieve it.  If they had a ton of core games that utilized or were going to in future from other publishers they woudl have mentioned them and not jus tsaid "they are coming"

If you say capcom is making some, it can mean anything from full fledged game, party game, on rails, ect. if you say resident evil 6, it means resident evil 6.

Then you need to read up more on the line up of games cuz clearly you don't seem to know much of it

lol, so clueless. Let's actually compare the announced lineups then...

and how is that bad for a peripheral in contrast to a console launch? :S I mean really? and trust me after TGS and GC that list will be longer as well

ps: might wanna remove those 'cancelled' titles from the wii line up as well, kinda of useless for them to be there no?

Nice defense, moving from essentially "you clearly know little about the lineups" to "why even compare lineups?".  Before we really get started I'm just going to ask, how far do you plan to Move those goalposts?

Also, who's to say all those Move games will release?  I'm not comparing actual releases, I'm comparing a relative snapshot of the announced lineups at the same point and time.  If Sony's claim is really that they're bringing Motion to the core, maybe they should've staid awake the past 4 years?

Until they are cancelled you can't speculate, the oens that were already cancelled you can't deny, stop spinning it

and lol nope I meant it, you clearly have no idea or your just saying it for the sake of it, Move as a peripheral launch has a great number of titles already announced for it with TGS and GC on the way..Sony has a lot of Non Move games coming too ya know? It's just an add on which is getting nice support

They were awake they were brining a long lsit of great titles for the owners thanks...dunno what your comment even means really...take off thos TBA and cancelled ones out and you have a great lsit of titles for a non console launch

But surely Jarrod, I expected more unbiase reply from ya here, seeing how your so in partial in Ninty matters :D I'm literally in shock here
