Should Uncharted 3 feature co-op in its story mode?

Yes, it should move with the times 19 24.68%

Only if the story demands it 11 14.29%

Leave it as it is, keep co-op and MP seperate 27 35.06%

I'd say no, but would be interesting to see 6 7.79%

Absolutely not! It would kill the game. 8 10.39%

Include splitscreen in on... 6 7.79%

Total:77

I agree, but you don't have to play it that way, it's just an option.  Like it or not, there are many people out there that want co-op, and I think using a clone is a good comprimise.  The gameplay stays in tact and you get another option.  I like options in games, even if they're useless to me.

But you have to adjust AI, you have to adjust levels to work better with 2 players, and co-op platforming is just rather dull

Levels designed for co-op are better for co-op. Uncharted 2's SP levels are designed to be played by one player and so work best with one player

Around the Network

Uncharted does not need co-op shoehorned into the main story. By all means ND should keep it as a separate mode as in Among Thieves and expand upon that idea. Perhaps co-op could have it's own 3-4 hour story away from Nathan's adventure in UC 3- a spin-off from the main story where you control Chloe or Sully with 2 partners for example.

No doubt the platforming sections would be dull, but I wonder how difficult and time consuming it would be to add enemies and have them react to 2 players.  I don't want Uncharted compromised for co-op, but I really like split screen co-op and personally would like it thrown in, even if not well implemented.(I know the game would be ridiculed by reviewers for poor implementation, but I personally don't care, I just want the option.)
