leo-j might I ask you why you have those predictions (of others) in your sig? I don't think you of all people should be having them in your sig, I mean come on nobody ever made more foolish predictions then you did (yes on this entire earth and in all the years people live on this planet).

Regardless of whether you give December 5 weeks of results, the DS will easily surpass 60 million. Consider that it will almost certainly be at 60 million by the time results come in during the third week of December. It will likely be sitting between 62 and 63 million on December 31st, barring no major adjustments.

So is it safe to assume it will surpass the PS2 in overall sales by the end of 2009?

If anyone who said anything foolish was barred from pointing out anyone else's foolish statements, no one would have anything to talk about.  Leo-J's predictions may have been extra-tained by fanboy glasses, but that doesn't mean he can't find a good bad prediction and point it out.
