Only if Wii shipments can't make a large seperation. Although I think people are overestimating sales of the 360 in holiday season. I think sales will be more around what they were last year. About 1.3 million. But 360 sales are irrelevant as the gap will only be decided by how many Wii's are shipped in that month to America. Could be 1.5 million could be 2 million. Who knows.
Wasn't he the one saying that the Wii would be a fad that would only last until the end of 2007? Or was it 2008... Oh well, doesn't matter.
Like Yojimbo and tuggy, I also think that the gaps will be even bigger between both consoles, not closer at all.

With Patcher's history, I would say that this is a good indication that the Wii will outsell the XBox 360 2 to 1 (or possibly 3 to 1) ...

Well, in another thread I said that December is when either the 360 or PS3 would outsell the Wii WW for the month. I actually think it will be the 360.
Reason? Stock. MS has a lot of 360 shipped and sitting on shelves, it has a very good library, and has a lot of potential. Whereas the Wii will sell out of whatever it ships, which should be obviously less than what MS was capable of stocking up over the last few months and shipped to retailers for Xmas sells.
So, this has been the only time I can ever think of where I think Patcher may actually be pretty close.
Wii sales are going to be huge. I think the PS3 might outsell the 360 for the month though.
Boycotting the following:
1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.
2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.
3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.
4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games. If that were the case they'd own a PS3.
5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.
6. Boycotts: Their so lame.

You know what's hilarious? Pachter clearly arrived at these numbers by taking the estimated Thanksgiving weeks sales and multiplying them by the 5 weeks that make up December. Watch:
Wii: 350k x5 = 1.75m
360: 310k x5 = 1.5m
PS3: 150k x5 = 750k (800k)
