All I know is that at E3 2009, sony said : "FFXIV Will be PS3 Exclusive in 2010" and didn't say : "FFXIV will be PS3 exclusive in 2010 ONLY".

Technically they just said that it's only possible on the PS3, but I think most devs say that shit because most games on PS3 has more freedom with Bluray size vs DVD. Besides, inFamous does looks pretty decent if you sit far away enough and don't see the aliasing as much, hope they resolved that aliasing shit at least, I wanna see the SPU AA trend in all future PS3 games personally.
PS: less than 10gb is prolly bigger than 6.7 or 6.8 at least =P
PS2: Sony PR has always been retarded pricks lol

So, yeah, your biased and it show's. Microsoft have talked just as much shit this gen as Nintendo or Sony, you seem to conveniently forget about all their fault's and it's getting pretty annoying. I just hope you have better thing's to do in the future, it might actually lead you to create less stupid thread's and make you a poster worth taking seriously. |
I dont' understand people getting emotional over PR, some little googling and you will end up with loads of laughable articles about windows vista, so yeah I agree, pointless thread.
I want to get angry (I'm bored...), but I don't really see any reason to do so
So yeah, they are not really lieing, but they all mislead the customers to some degree. Also, if you listen to Don Mattrick at all, he comes off as such a smug arsehole and is always talking down the competition just watch his post E3 gametrailers interview
Having said that, I am fairly sure that Sony forced anyone who talked about the move to talk about precision

actually that was an out right lie it's a PC exclusive only in 2010. It comes out in 2011 on the PS3.

Sucker Punch =/= Sony.
MS has never trash talked? What about the Halo sales being better than Sony exclusives?!
I think it's just Sony has stricter guidelines in the PR. I don't think is blatant lying, it's only that PR is almost always half truth half propaganda.
I don't quite understand your problem. First of all not Sony made these claims but some game development studios which developed PS3 games. And while 10GB is indeed just a small part of the Blu-Ray capacity, it's still a few Gigabytes more than the capacity of a double layer DVD disc used by the Xbox 360 (or single layer DVD discs used by the Wii), so even with just 10GB you could not easily port the game to another console at least without reducing content.
And by the way: Playing with semantics is so common, almost every company does that.
