I know it well enough that if you wrote the article you could easily get it published. I have known more than a few people get ahead by showing initiative.

Not saying I agree with it. You will take note that in my Top 50 Games of this Gen topic (in the Sales Forum no less, and stickied) I combine SKUs. I do this knowing that the site does it differently.

But tha's how the Source presents the data; it's how Brett presents the data. There's nothing to argue about unless you want to argue with how Brett has the data laid out.

Just because the data is laid out like that, doesn't mean they don't think it doesn't count as one game. At one point I remember they were asking if we wanted to see the skus combined.

They have the skus seperated for many reasons, not because they don't think it's the same game.

Then you might want to take this up with The Source, or Brett.

Bretts a very busy guy atm, and I don't believe even if Source knew he was incorrect, that he would change it. To be quite frank.

So rather than even bring it up with him you bring it up in the forums? How does that even make sense?

I just said, he wouldn't listen. He doesn't answer my questions as it is.

Not that I need to justify that to you whatsoever.

I've never seen The Source post in the staff forum. This wasn't a love letter to brett/source ... I wanted the forums opinions on it, hence why I made the topic.

It made for a good debate, nothing got out of hand, stop whinging.

Ok, So how much did Resident Evil 4 sell? Ive never seen anyone adding PS2, GC and PC numbers to inflate how much it sold on Wii. Unless minor graphical upgrades means its all the sudden not the same game despite it being the same game.

What about Cronotrigger? The DS version is the same as the SNES game. CoD Modern Warfare, do you include Reflex? Okami on Wii and PS2? Do you include the PC ports of HD top line games like all the CoD titles, GTA 4, Half Life and all the others?

Even if you did, none of them would have hit 15 million in 8 weeks ^_-

Modern Warfare 2 is actually also the fastest game to top 20 million. Now why isn't this news?
