I wonder that too. It feels like a relic from the pre-internet days. I guess they must want to control the timing and quality of the public release of the video, which is fine as long as they release it promptly. If they sit on it for 2 months while all the public has to consume is the inevitable camcorder version with crappy sound and people walking in front of the camera, they're not doing us or themselves any favors. In any case, the days of people being happy to hear journalists describe how awesome a trailer was are long over. We expect to see it ourselves.


It's also got new scenes and new effects. I think it'll take more than that to turn it into what I'd call a "good" movie, but I'll probably pick it up in a few years when it's cheap. I imagine it'll be pretty much the most impressive home theatre demo disk ever made.

I'll just wait till it gets leaked on youtube... Well.... I hope so. >_>

Yeah, I will as well but you don't get the quality and it takes away from the experience of the trailer on youtube.

After the DQ and FF milking, now it's KH's turn...

Not complaining though, I'll probably buy all of them (except the phone ones).

Also now that Star Ocean is starting to get milked too, is there any hope of new Vagrant Story or Parasite Eve games (Not on cellphones)?

I don't even care if it's a new game or a remake (on anything higher than DS).

also i looked up that dissidia game, it doesnt look half bad, if they canmake it into a fun brawl (like super smash) then it could be a big hit. Think about super smash brother with FF characters...........awsome

Kingdom hearts is better than borth final fantasy and dragon quest.
