I expected new record for X360 (isn't it something like 30k?). Slim models just have done so great in Japan during last few years (DS, PSP, PS3..). Of course I didn't expect anything like PSP or PS3 slim sales but over 30k would have been nice. (especially with MH game)

Japanese people love a shedload of other products by American companies, so that's not a valid reason.
