For the people asking, it almost certainly won't work on any other version of brawl. Different code means the glitch is unlikely to be there.

It only works on certain stages, like Kirby's Dream Land... at least that happened on my Wii :P
And yes, it works, even on the Wii, it's kinda fun to play coin matches with it :D
