I know the wii has but what about the other 2? if not do you think they will be?

 To my knowledge the ps3 has not been. But I wonder if it was, would this help or hurt it. I remember when the utopia boot disk came out for the DC it had a massive sales spike. I dunno if this helped or hurt sega financially or not. ( they where dead men walking anyway)

 Maybe having console easy to pirate or at least possible to, is factor in consoles success. the ps1 and ps2 where pirated heavily but they still where very successful.

 (dont get me wrong I dont advocate piracy, I personally think its a dog act)

 edit, I would like to see the wii hacked to make it region free. (not a mod chip, dont like em) but like cd or sd card boot loader. I surprised datel and such havent released one yet, maybe the fear of a update disabling them prevents them. but if they used it on a sd card the hack could also be updated.

The gamecube was region hacked by lik-sang on day one with a very small mod that let region switch.

I read that firmware 1 and 1.1 of the ps3 have been cracked, but the hackers are way behind, ps3 is now at 2.01

X360 has been cracked here pirate X360 games are sold everywhere.

None of the current consoles have been cracked to the extent that the xbox1 was....*sigh*....

Yeah i know with xbox1 lots of ppl had them modded and would rent then game and then save it to the HD.

I guess with ps3 the hackers have the blu-ray to deal with also, how to rip them and then how to burn them. I dont even know if there are blu-ray burners yet.
