Was there even hype for this phone? I see commercails for it for like a week, and then I see its been discontinued? I never thought that it would be a failure so early, but maybe the new iphone 4 killed any potential this phone had.

Did someone say iPhone...sweet they're the best with all the apps and 'wifi's' hehe

The funny thing is that I hear the iPhone is night and day better than the HTC EVO. I.E. It lasts another night and another day on the one charge when comparing them out of the box.

It isnt. Apple screwed up majorly with its design. The whole antenna band thing that was supposed to make signal lose a thing of the past drops more calls then the original iPhone. This issue could have easily been solved too. Just put a thin layer of a polymer or ever the crap that's on Blu-ray Discs onto the metal band, but no they released a product where the metal antenna is exposed allowing electrons dispersed from human hands to interfere with it.

This is also why every other cell phone manufacturer is making fun of them about this.

Calling people sheep is an insult. Its a stereo type and once people start casting down stereotypes they stop thinking. There are people here who would rather call people names than try to even understand why they would buy an iPhone over an Android, an Xbox 360 over a PS3 or vice versa for both of these. Noone ever got called a sheep by an Android fan for buying an Android phone because everyone else has an Android phone. Its an insult reserved for people who dare to think differently even if they think alike to many other people.

There are a lot of people who buy Apple products because they are cool without any proper reasons for buying one. Very often they don't understand the competition and just think that the iPhone is the only answer because of Apple's ridiculous adverts. I am a bit of a sheep because I always buy Sony products, but at least I know that there are often better alternatives and the advantages of my various Sony things

You can say the same thing about so many different products. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, TVs, bottled water, computer parts. Its not something which is restricted only to or could really be proved to be more prevalent amongst Apple product owners. Its pointless to single out one group when there are many others which are equally or more guilty of this.

Tease.

yes it happens in many different products but we are talking about phones here

APPLE is more 'BRAND of TODAY' than a 'BRAND of FOREVER'

like MOTOROLA did with their RAZR phones and then just died down, now trying to come back up
