No, Ea bought out the entire studio of Bioware and all of their intellectual property including Mass Effect. Meaning EA now owns Mass Effect. But the Microsoft publishing deals took place before the buy out.

It's not happening, just like MGS4 on the 360 is not happening. This is one of the reasons why rumors suck, because people are actually stupid enough to believe and place faith in them.

I seriously believe their is still some connection between Bioware, EA and Microsoft on Mass Effect. We just don't know it yet.

It was already confirmed that Mass Effect would remain a 360 exclusive. Maybe Mass Effect 2 might be multi-platform though, who knows.

THeres a difference in the fact that EA owns the IP, but MS published it.

Whoever told you that publishing didnt decide what consoles was wrong, but if bioware were to make a sequal then EA gets to decide

While x360 users want to get MGS4 and FFXIII on x360, if they lose Bioshocj and Mass effect, then it would be just LOL.
