What do you think. I think it would be good because it would make the game more tactical/strategy based and less skill based. I don't think it would be better, but it would be different. It would be cool if the game allowed you to switch between 3rd and 1st person view without altering the graphics, but I doubt that would happen. I'm not complaining about the current perspective, I love it. I'm just saying it would be a cool idea if it were in 3rd point perspective (if it was done right). This wouldn't make better or worse, it would just make a different experience.

For me it would decrease the intensity of single player if it where to go third person.

Much better for me. I just love TPS, hence why I'm all over Transformers: WfC right now.

I think there's too much stuff going on screen for a FPS. And that's also the same reason why I think the single player in MW2 is not as good as the one in CoD4. You just don't know where to look.

I think it would be worse. I hope the devs don't try this. 

Third Person top down view in Liberation was fun, though. Wouldn't mind a console Killzone like that.

Killzone would be competing head to head against Gears of War series if it shifted from FPS to TPS. Killzone is a good FPS series and it is doing well against COD and Halo series and many other heavyweight FPS games in a highly saturated FPS market. 

Killzone 3 releases February next year a two month head start over the highly anticipated Gears of War 3. FPS versus a TPS. Different game genres appealing to different target audiences. If Killzone series shifted from FPS to TPS it may not work. 

we might see a killzone wars who knows....
