Here in Houston Texas, they are near impossible to find. Only Arcade and Halo editions are abundant.

I just came back from best buy, there are about lets 30-40 Pro.

About 15-20 arcade, and 40 boxes of elites..

For ps3

there are 60gb's in best buy(Miami florida)
selling at $479.99

And 40gigs about 30 boxes, same ffor 80gig about 30 boxes. No wii's.

Those 60 gigs just wont go away!

 Funny you ask... I was out shopping today (much to my chagrin in Austin, Tx).  I went to 3 different wal-marts looking for a camera that was sold out everywhere... One target and a best buy.  All stores were out of Wiis.  All stores had at least 2 PS3s in the cases.  I saw 3 or 4 total Halo 3 edition 360s.  1 Premium with the 2 game pack, zero elites and zero arcades.

I think Microsoft failed to stuff the channel like they did last year and it is costing them this year for sure.  I wonder what kind of sales MS is losing by not having enough arcades and elites in stock?  I suspect quite a few will buy a PS3 instead if they can't find one...

I think that they underestimated their own demand. The simexchange has estimates them selling over 700k this month and over 1.5 million next month in America alone . They never had demand like this with the original Xbox.

 Apparantly leo-j is at the center of the gaming universe.  Always plenty of stock to go around.

Here there are lots and lots and lots and lots and lots... well, you get the idea. Elites are kinda rare tho.

Yeah, ive been noticing a lot of Pros, arcades and a few scattered Halos, but Elites are pretty much non existant where i live, which is odd. PS3s they have less of, but ive also noticed in stores that sell them here, they have less space to put them out (like wal mart and target).

My gf works at the electronics department in a local target, tells me its hard to determine stock for the system because most of them are in the back anyways, and that they usually try to keep at least one of each sku out because they cant fit them all out on the sales floor, so being able to tell which sells more by looking at stock actually means nothing, haha.

Actually MS has been very good at keeping our store stocked up on 360 units. Premium sells quite well, but we always have 5 -10 extra units kicking around in the back.
