As the thread title suggests, this is a topic for all you Graphic Whores.

I don't care if the gameplay is ass, or if the camera control makes you want to call earl, I want you to come in here and tell me about the prettiest games.

And, we can go back to old school games, too, that were awesome looking for their generation.

Speaking of which, when arcades were still popular in NA, I was totally enthralled by Space Ace.

And when Mortal Kombat came out, that thing was gorgeous.

Of course, they all pale in comparison to today's standards, with Crysis leading the charge. 

What games bring out the Graphics Whore in you?

Gran Turismo 5 makes me get all hot.

Crysis makes me want to drop some major ca$h on a computer upgrade. Fortunately for my tastes, I hear the gameplay ain't that bad either.

Im definately a gameplay over graphics man, but graphics do play a part in my enjoyment of a game, I just love seeing a nice looking game.

Er, FFVII was pretty damn good for its time. Uncharted: Drakes fortune is VERY impressive.

Chrono Trigger! Not exactly the best graphics for the time, but I really loved the art style.

I think these are prime games that made serious benchmarks for the books

Killzone 2 gets my juices going. I hope they pull it off.

I still love Gears of War, too. 

Uncharted looks great, GT3 was fantastic and the hour long game called The Bouncer.

Final Fantasy... Any really... With each consoles, they surpassed the other game's graphics.
