Question is in the title.

Why haven't handhelds had the multi-million dollar budgets spent on them compared to the home consoles?

Would Mario Kart Wii on the 3DS be worse than Mario Kart Wii? Would NSMB on the 3DS with 4player local and the ability to play anywhere be better or worse than NSMB Wii?

Is it time for everybody to migrate to the 3DS so that we can play most of our games wherever and whenever we want and occasionally take the Wii out of the closet to play Wii Sports Resort?

Any kinect game.

Any game that puts the 2nd analog stick to good use...but with that said I'm still not convinced handhelds need a 2nd stick, it seems Nintendo agrees by only putting one on the 3ds :D

Every shooters. It definitely needs two analog sticks.

Nintendo are going to use WSR Archery controls as the second analogue for 3DS in any game that requires aiming. It works well and is better than a second analogue.

Well I agree on shooters BUT Resistance: Retribution is ABSOLUTELY awesome!! controlls are perfect!

Headphones help to alleviate that.

3D should help too.

because portables are meant to be playeed on the go, therfore the games are designed for short burst gameplay. I mean I bought my DS to play on the go, not to have another home console, thats what my Wii is for.
