Meh, don't care. There's far too many games to buy this holiday already, I would'nt have bought a 3DS 'till 2011, anyways.

Hopefully 3DS is launched in Europe before Americas (GBA and DS sold better there).

I'm cool with that.  Gives me time to find a new job. 

Besides, we've already got Kirby and Donkey Kong lined up for the holidays, on TOP of Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M!  How much Nintendo epicness can we take in one year!?

to be honest I'm not to bothered, I'll be busy at Cristmas with Golden Sun DS and DKC Returns

It makes perfect sense to me. Nintendo wants to focus on the Wii and DS this holiday season. Releasing 3DS this Christmas would mean eating money that gamers might have spent on DS's, Wii's and software like Donkey Kong and Kirby. In the end traditionally the holiday season is the biggest time for games, releasing just afterwards would dumb the blow that the DS would obviously feel. Also it would ensure that gamers are buying more Nintendo products instead of using that money to buy competitors products.

In the end I'm sort of relieved. I wanted the 3DS this fall but have 5 games pre-ordered and will be hard pressed to get much time in with all of them as it is. So no 3DS means my wallet has a few months to recover and I will have more time to play the 3DS as it won't be competing with home console games for my attention.

they will launch it somewhere this year, probably Japan.  They can't launch it in all 3 territories at once, they could never supply that.  It is gonna sell a ton of units in Japan day 1, i'm not kidding i wouldn't be surprised if it sold 1 million first week in Japan if they could supply it.

No problem. I'm anxious for it but i have my Wii and DS to keep me busy this holiday season. =(

I wouldn't count on it. Reggie very clearly says next year, he even pauses for a half second or so before saying it. He could've easily said it's coming before March '11 if he wanted. I'm guessing it releases in Japan in December and I'll be importing. I'm actually not sure it'll release in December in Japan, they have a HUGE game releasing the 9th over there for the DS and the 3DS would eat into that game's sales. Hopefully we'll get official word soon, I need to preorder.
