Dew Prism/Threads of Fate made it out to PSN this week. So what's next from the Square Enix catalogue?
Producer Shinji Hashimoto got on Twitter earlier today and made the expected announcement (it was expected because he'd said even earlier in the day that he'd be making it soon). The next Game Archives release from Square Enix is Seiken Densetsu Legend of Mana.
Known overseas as just Legend of Mana, this PlayStation classic was originally released in 1999 as the (possibly) fourth game in the Mana series. The game, which saw mixed critical reception, was directed by Final Fantasy XI director Koichi Ishii, and features a soundtrack from Yoko Shimomura.
Hashimoto did not provide a release time frame. But check the news archive below, and you may be able to see a pattern in the timing from announcement to final release for past Hashimoto's PSN teases like Dew Prism and Final Fantasy IX.
