What, I sound like Christopher Walken? >_>

Yes you do - very much

Although, the bug that makes me the most mad.. seriously I want to punch a fucking baby is the one where you attack an enemy and they turn "purple" as in someone else claimed them.. but they didn't you are fighting it and it hits you but you cant hit it back unless you run away for a bit until it turns red...

They need to fix that ASAP..

That bug makes me want to severely chuck my laptop out of a window. lol

All of this, of course, is just my opinion.

Skyrim 100%'d. Dark Souls 100%'d.
Dark Souls > Skyrim.
Halo 4 is the best damn FPS since Halo 3.

What I find fun is playing though the missions and leveling up, its all a work in progress. close/open beta was much more chaotic. i'm pretty sure onces the standard edition is released the biggest issues now will be resolved.

With so many bugs to fix, its no wonder they delay the ps3 version. still, the ps3 version might have bugs of its own when that is released i bet lol.

By missions you mean guildleves? Are you doing them just for your starting class? Or for multiple? Which city did you start out in? How many quests did you do for your beginning city?  And, yea, work in progress is exactly what it is haha

i mean the actual mission story thing. guildleves is fun too, is a quick way to lvl up fast. I think I need to lvl up my class rank a bit higher to unlock more missions in my starting city at the moment. I'm rank 11 gladiator.

so far i got my pugilist high enough to learn second wind which restores hp for the cost of tp, and marauder's blood bath, which makes your next successful attack restores a percentage of hp. so, i'm combining those stuff with gladiator along with a shield which is a nice combo for soloing and tanking in the future.

I'm in Limsa Lominsa, on Melmond server.

I'm on the Palamecia server, my home nation is Gridania, and my character's name is Naraku Diabolos (lol). Because my character's name on FFXI was Naraku and I am on the server Diabolos.

Caladhiel Draugole on the Fabul server... I'm most often in Gridania, since that's the nation I chose. I'm not super sociable, so don't expect to do quests with me all the time but you can say hi if you see me by. X3

Oh and yes it works smoothly on my laptop now, but I had to tweak it... Turned off all effects, lowered resolution, and cut the buffer by half. It looks crappy but at least I can play and it's temporary till the PS3 version comes out.

Anyone hit the xp cap yet?

*Small spoilers below*

I played for the first 4 days and never hit the cap - granted I'm not hardcore and don't play like some people (Saw some people at physical level 18 when I was still at 10ish)

Currently sitting at Physical level 16 - been running around a lot - I do my leves for the day the 8 guildleves and the crafting ones then grind a little bit but mostly just walk around and explore.. oh if you see a lindblum.. RUN.. hit me for 4k damage and I only have 600 health total lol.

Started in Gridania went to Ul'Dah - saw a "fery dock" so now I am in Limsa - where I will stay for the next few days until I have another day off

Im at physical level 20 and still havent it the exp cap. I still earn about 200-500xp per mob and 1500 from crafting.

It appears the cap is actually quite difficult to achieve. You have to constantly grind mobs for 8 hours straight with no breaks in order to see the effect. The cap doesnt happen with 8 hours of play. Its 8 hours of non stop grinding. However my Pug has hit its skill point cap. I can only get around 10-50 per mob while i get 200-400 using a different class. So it is sorta strange that i reached my cap for the pug but not for my physical level.

The physical cap might not have been implemented yet. It might happen when it goes offically live on the 30th cause just like you i dont know anybody that has hit that 8hr limit yet.

I'm waiting to hear from Wagram :P

I have played for hours yesterday and haven't hit the cap. But I was running around, going to places and stuff. That takes a chunck of time. I think it's right to assume they mean non stop grinding.

I'm a conjurer btw, it's a hard job to do as not only a FF online newb but also MMO newb. Along with that, I'm doing some alchemy. It might not sound that great but (to me it is) I've done some growth formula alpha plus 2. I seem to have a natural talent for alchemy. I rarely fail.

My fiance does way more stuff than I do, but I gave him some formula and he made me some wands and staff. :3

I don't know yet what else I'm going to do. For now that's enough to me. I also got lancer but I haven't touched it much, just at level 3 I think. I'm phys level 12, 9 conj and 8 alch. I'm not much of a group player, I can't handle the stress of looking out for others & I'm a horrible healer. I only use it for myself now. I'm much more confortable at solo and duo isn't too bad.

Debuted at #10 in the UK charts with just the collectors edition being releaseD!!

So week 1 sales are strong!

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Btw, my game looks like this (and yes it's my character): http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj20/xillyx/FFXIV-halfbuffer-laptop.png

I'd rather sacrifice some image quality for some smooth performance. Imo, it was pretty much unplayable before.
