I'm glad your at least taking interest in it!

Well, I've wanted a new MMO for a while, and my list included Lego Universe, SW:TOR, FFXIV, and GW2. I've thus removed LU, I played in the beta, and while it was very fun, just doesn't have the staying power I'm looking for. I think I've removed SW:TOR, but I haven't really checked on it lately. It just seems pretty normal MMO, so I'm not really sure I'm interested in that.

So it's pretty much between GW2 and FFXIV now, but GW2 has a significant lead. I loved GW, hated FFXI. GW2 is F2P, and I'd be very surprised of FFXIV is. But the Armoury system sounds interesting, so I'll wait until there are some concrete beta videos (where it'll be close to the way the game will be released) or something before I completely cut it out of the mix.

SW:TOR game play to me looks mortifyngly bad honestly.

It's hard to get accurate sales for FF online games. Since SE sells them through their online service as well. and Steam.
