I was watching some videos on an upcoming Move game called The Fight: Lights Out. I was actually looking forward to this game because I'm dying to see a fighting title that actually follows your motions. But now that a little more has been released I'm actually very disappapointed.
In the developer diary video below he is obviously exagerating. Its really just following the gestures of the Move controllers. Hence, I was hoping for a game that follows my exact movements.
He talks about fighting dirty, but all we see is a friggin headlock. In my book a headlock isn't dirty and there isn't much potential for a dirty fight considering you can only use your fist. I mean what if I wanted to throw a kick to the groin, a head butt, scratch someones eye out, etc. Dodging also seems to require to move both controllers in the same direction as opposed to just moving your body.
Basically, this is a huge reason I'm looking forward to the Kinect. The Fight is a game that's very limited with the Move controllers, yet has unlimited potential with the Kinect. Now lets hope someone rips this game off and develops a the type of game I've been dreaming about.
Also, this game seems to require two move controllers. So I would need to buy a Move bundle and an additional Move controller just to play this limited fighter. I need four Move controllers for split screen!!!
