The rest no, nintendo is primarily all about games and things like flash do not enhance games at all.

Hopefully it has a better connection design, with the connect24 like announcement i imagine it does.

skype no, but something similar of there own development. We wanted to do myChat and couldnt which would suggest Nintendo are working on something similar, which we thought for DSi, but now more likely 3DS.

Nintendo won't allow Flash for the same reason Apple did. Flash support opens another distribution channel which the manufacturer doesn't have any control over. It's against values which Apple and Ninty bring to the table, so they shall not allow Flash content on iPhone/3DS.

The biggest improvement will be to make a handheld gaming device into all in one phone.

They support Flash on Wii.  I don't see the issue for Nintendo, Apple's trying to push HTML5 so they're in a completely different situation.

Flash needs to die. If they do anything at all internet-related like that (and I don't think they should; the DS won over the PSP because it focused on gaming alone) then it should be HTML5, <video>/<audio>/WebM and WebGL they should be promoting instead of Flash. Dropping Flash is possibly the only good thing Apple's ever done.
