You're misquoting him big time. Why don't you go to his personal blog and read what he really said rather than what amateur websites that are starved for page hits misquoted him as saying.

Personally I though TM looked great. I didn't see sub HD graphics at all. They sure aren't confident of there own work are they.


Jaffe has been responding to every single fan question about the game on his personal twitter account. He's interacting with the Twisted Metal community and being very friendly about it. I don't understand the issue here.

i did read what he wrote at the time he wrote it.  he was complaining about two specific games saying sony should sue them for stealing his work.

I have always loved the use of that excuse.  Obviously, if they had had better stuff to show, they would have shown it.


Read the OP over. He didn't say that they had a better engine, he said that they are already in the midst of upgrading what was shown at the E3 conference.

i did read what he wrote at the time he wrote it.  he was complaining about two specific games saying sony should sue them for stealing his work. 

He was complaining about the titles, not the games themselves.

Other than the suing about the game, I could easily take Jaffe out, and put in Gabe Newell

Its not overly defensive and its normal to explain whats going on and what they are aiming for in order to maintain their hype and good reputation. If people on internet would be less negative and exagerating to begin with, good developers wouldnt have to defend their reputation and games. Not a thing they showed or said justify the bad press coming from flamers or comments such as yours.
