Forums - Nintendo - Is Nintendo taking Quantum Leaps? Now talking about online

The 'push type' sounds scare to me. Does that mean I have to opt-out of buying software? If so, I hate that idea. If its just pushing little demos and such, then no biggie.

One more thing, why has noone asked the most important question?

ARE THERE FRIEND-CODES?

The pushes would relate to software updates and free content. No sane business would try to impose fees on its users without some kind of contractual agreement. That would be criminal.

You might see online purchases become a lot easier than they are right now, like Amazon or iTunes easy, but even there Nintendo has shown a reluctance because they don't want kids racking up big charges on mommy's credit card.
