I say move, i'm pretty sure nintendo will drop the price later on....can't be to sure about move. My opinion aside go with what you think will get more use.

When was the last time nintendo ever dropped the price within a year? Also GC doesn't count
for obvious reasons

Anyway I say just wait until we know when the 3DS will launch and the price you could buy both if they
relaese far enough

Exactly, the DS in Japan just had it's first price cut since it released! It only took what 5 or 6 years, hahaha.

Anyway, I'm not sure why this thread was posted in the Sony forum as it would probably be better off in Gaming. The best choice would definitely be to go with a 3DS. The 3DS is going to be a beast when it releases and the games/game line-up look excellent so far.

Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

Buy 3DS frist, the lineup atm is much more interesting....also why you have to buy 2 move sets? I haven't seen interesting local multiplayer games on it atm....

I would put Move on hold until it has more games. I also think that Move will get a pricecut long before 3DS.

Plus, 3DS will get a Ocarina of Time remake! WAAAAAAA!!!!!

Why would anyone buy a 3DS on launch?!? Haven't you guys learned your mistakes with Nintendo constantly upgrading the hardware?? And sadly those guys that say get 3DS are the ones that fall for the trap!

I'd say wait! You never know Nintendo might release a revision in a couple months after launch!!! I wouldn't be surprise if it true!

If I were you superchunk, I would get the Move instead! I can assure you Move won't get revisions unlike some companies that got a habit of ripping people off!

What I'm saying is for good investments for long term use, Move is the only choice!

I don't buy new consoles/handhelds for at least 1 year after they are released. Too many issues.

3DS. Move can't take 3D pictures :P

PSP has had as many revisions as the DS and 3DS don't count since it's a whole new handheld altogether. A company needs to make money and profits, so they have to do what they have to do.

My opinion, get the 3DS and if Nintendo decides for a new revision of it simply trade it in and upgrade.

why does it matter? move releases this year and the 3DS releases sometime next year.. their way apart from each others release so go with Move then 3DS when that releases next year

Gameboy Advance: June 2001

Gameboy Advance SP: March 2003

Gameboy Micro: September 2005

Nintendo DS Original: November 2004

Nintendo DS Lite: June 2006

Nintendo DSi: April 2009

They won't make an update only a few months after launch. He would actually lose out by waiting a year, then biting, only for them to announce a revision months after, rather than a year or two after he bought it.

Why would you even compare these two products? What is this "research" supposed to prove?

MY HYPE LIST: 1) Gran Turismo 5; 2) Civilization V; 3) Starcraft II; 4) The Last Guardian; 5) Metal Gear Solid: Rising
