I'll probably get both, but 3DS is a lot more exciting - a better DS - the greatest thing ever???

Nintendo's highest price system is the orginal DS which was $150 but was cut to $130 at the launch of the DS lite 2 years later. The only time they got close to $200 was DSi which is $170 and that's considered a upgrade to the DS lite so its priced higher and the same is DSi XL which is $190 I think
Nintendo is too cheap to cut the DS's price so they just raised it. Anyway the DS could be $75 and still make a profit for all the time its been out.

I don't know when the Move comes out but if it comes out next to 3DS i would say get 3DS. Move looks cool but Idk, it depends on the software you know.

Nintendo 3DS is the better choice. If you already have a Wii then you should wait to get Move.

Move doesn't have a single game that looks interesting, maybe Sorcery. But I feel like I could get a similar experience with Harry Potter on the Wii.

i'd say 3DS, assuming Nintendo prices it at $200 or less. It just has a beast of a launch lineup.

You have a Wii. Wait for more Move games to be announced before deciding if the developers do a good job. Rather than hoping that developers do a good job near release. You know like the flood of qaulity Wii games near release.

It's not hard to screw up 3D as it's just a processing effect. Also there is more to the 3DS than just the 3D. The passive WiFi and rumble tech may come out with some very interest elements. Sword slashes in a Ninja Gaiden like game where a light rumble for tactile feel?

3DS has more to offer than the Move in regards to what's done before. 3DS may end up sucking, but the potential is there. Where as Move is retreading the same ground.

Put it this way, I already know what console I'll be buying first for the next 10 gaming generations. (hint: it ryhmes with ben10-endo)

However, I like FPS and TPS games and unfortunately that is one genre Wii lacks, greatly. So, I bought a PS3 for a few games I wanted and the network capabilities as well as bluray.

Now, as for this question. If I'm going to spend $300 anytime soon it will be on the 3DS or put into games for Wii/PS3. I just can't justify Move's cost, especially considering it will all be replaced in 2012.

3DS, Move will likely end up with limited support, and low sales, probably will be mostly forgotten in two years, 3DS on the other hand, will be the next major handheld from Nintendo, and will likely see some of the best games of the next 5 years
