Alright this is what I have been wondering for a while now and have not been able to find an answer for the life of me. Basically I want to change where a game looks for its saved games so that I can move all the saved games/profile/whatever to another folder and make it so that the game can see them and load them properly.
If you are wondering why I want to do this, it's because I want to just throw all my saved games in my Dropbox folder and so whenever I install a game on any other PC they will be right there and synced across all my PCs and laptops. That way if I get somehwere on my PC I can start off from that location on my laptop without any hassles. I already use Dropbox for some amazing settings syncage across applications. Also I know how to sync some games, but only the Games for Windows ones. I was wondering in general.
P.S. If you don't know what Dropbox is it is godsent and one of the greatest apps ever made. I basically sync my entire firefox profile so when I change it on one box, or I install or remove and addon it changes all instances across all my PCs. Absolutely amazing tech. Edit: Nevermind, I just suck at google. For those wondering, you can link folders that stay in sync with the ones in Dropbox, so I can just link wherever the saved games are instead of making the games look elsewhere. Epic fail on my part.
