As of now it seems to be between 4 games and I only played 1 since the other 3 are not out yet.(Super Mario Galaxy 2, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Donkey Kong Country Returns, or Sony's LittleBigPlanet 2) As of now all 4 look great with the 3 Nintendo games ahead of LBP2. ... ... ... ... as of now this is how it is for me: ... ... um...(thinking) #4)LittleBigPlanet 2 #3)Super Mario Galaxy 2 #2)Donkey Kong/Kirby #1)Kirby/Donkey Kong As of right now(As I am typing this post) Donkey Kong or Kirby will be my Game Of The Year 2010! |
Same they both have a chance of dethorning my favorite Wii game of all New Super Mario Bros Wii. But, they have a lot of work to do to do that.

lol, you can hear DKCR in the background.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
I love the trailer http://nintendo.co.uk/NOE/en_GB/games/wii/kirbys_epic_yarn_18260.html
I think I've watched it 10 times now and it still makes me laugh.

The funny thing is that it could have been done on GC or N64.
I want this game.
Kimi wa ne tashika ni ano toki watashi no soba ni ita
Itsudatte itsudatte itsudatte
Sugu yoko de waratteita
Nakushitemo torimodosu kimi wo
I will never leave you
So, what will we call the group of fans for the game? Other games had a wagon, train or even plane.
Are fans of Epic Yarn the Knitting club?
Anyone want to start a bandwagon thread for the game? Thread, ugh. Seriously, NO pun intended there. Seriously, there wasn't.

Look at when Tetris came out. It was very new. The game could of been done on the Atari 2600 actually. A good game is a good game. If it is good now, odds are it will remain such, which is a GREAT sign to me.

It couldn't have been done on Atari 2600.
But my point is that Nintendo decided to wait until moderately late into the Wii's life to bring this when it could actually been done sooner.
Curse you Nintendo!

Tetris has been done on the 2600:

Yes, someone coded it. Tetris is a VERY simple game, and doesn't require much code to do. But it is also a timeless game to. And yes, MAYBE Kirby could of come out earlier, and would of been good, but it seems like Nintendo is more pressured now to do it. Later in the life cycle does welcome Kirby, because it is a bit on the quirky side.
The most artistically intriguing game of E3. Gameplay looks great too!
Ninty did a great job this year. Now there are too many great games that I want.
