Forums - Sony - Move is accessory hell from a charging perspective.

The amount of fanboyism and narrow mindedness in this thread amazes me. Just because it's a playstation product doesn't mean you need a playstation to charge it, grow up people and learn to think outside the box.

Few things some people are missing.  PS3 and move is expensive, so if your in the market for this than i would be willing to bet my life savings that you already have a computer/laptop/usb hub/tv with usb, etc, etc.  A PS3 with move is not going to be your first electronic product.

The next issue that people are raising incorrectly is that casual gamers may not have the know how, or may find it too hard to charge 10 peripherals at once.  Well guess what? casual gamers arnt staying up all night having 10 hour gaming sessions, so they won't need to charge 10 peripherals at once. At most they will be charging one to two while trying to play, but i'd be willing to bet most people can find something else to do for an hour while they wait for the controls to charge.

Now at squilliam, we all know what this thread is really all about.  Kinect and how its wireless and controller less, but guess what? Some of us like controllers... and if you have a controller than it's going to need to be charged, unless it's corded.

its not that, its just basically we are saying "what a hassle"

its easy as heck to all of sudden be stuck with all your controllers almost dead.  now extrapolate that to having potentially 10 controllers, its like a shit storm going where do i plug all these in.  Do all of them come with their own usb cord?  do you have enough usb cords lying aroung if not.

and lets say you are very organized and do make sure your controllers are charged to full when done.  you have foru people over you are then stuck charging at least 4 controllers at end of day and have to rotate them charging in ps3 in one slot if you don't remove eyetoy, or two slots if you do.  or else go around the house to wherever and plug them into other ports.

Its just as I said "A HASSLE"  I just don't see why ps3 didn't have like 8 usb ports or something.  I mean hell my laptop even has 4 of them and its not a good one.  My pc has like 16 usb slots.  my monitors even have it seems minimum of 2 in them.  Like you are syaing, easy as heck to find for most people.  I could charge a shit ton easy just by my computer.

But main thing back to why didn't sony just pu tmore on it?

LMAO :D your trying too hard now but it's ok keep it up...this is very LOLtastic

how am i trying to hard.  Its a simple question: "have you ever gotten surprised by a dead controller?"

or how about a couple even.  Now what do you have to do?  Recharge them via a usb port.

that involves as many USB ports as you need charged, and as many cords as you need.

The PS3 has very lack number of them thus needed other sources, and that is a hassle.  And i dont' think anyone needs ot even say how annoying it is when you want to watch tv and sit down and where is remote?  Hell it might not even be lost but is sitting on a different chair.  now imagine having to go to different places in house to where you MAY have charged the PS3 controller that day.  Its an annoying and bothersome hassle, both charging that many things and the thing its for not having an adequate charging stations.

There is no way to spin it otherwise

are we saying this will prevent any purchases, no.  just saying it suck sand is annoying.  hell you guys are the ones who were bitchign for years about how you dont' want to stand up to play a game, or hell the most pathetic is the complaining about CHANGING DISCS, thus ps3 is so amazing.

i mean damn, i sure was pissed as well having to get up once every 20 hours to change the star ocean disc /sarcasm

Won't a direct charger work?

That's what I use for my cell phone (USB to electricity).

I agree with the OP

Charging both my controllers and bluetooth are a nightmare. And I'm being honest. Move would be an accessory from hell, to me at least.
