Didn't they already try that on the PS3? If I remember correctly the PS3's main purpose was to kill off HD-DVD and make Blu-Ray the de facto high defintion format for porn movies.

So by now 3DS wins only the paraplegic porn watcher niche, Sony wins part of the school fetish porn niche, but in the majority of the market they both fall short.

No, it's still a great system, lots of amazing titles already available and even more coming out.

it's not the right time to make a psp2 cause of the 3ds momentum, they cant compete with that right now. they should wait a couple of more years when they can show something different and innovative.

lots of cool titles i'll get a psp for

What may be their best move is to make a low cost dedicated gaming machine. A PSP2 that sells for half the cost of a 3DS might find a sizable market. But then, Sony has never in their history made a gaming machine that just games, so they likely would never try this.

PSP doesn't look prehistoric,it only looks what Wii is to PS360

 

the smartphone market is actually there now that most of th smartphones with high power required for gaming are available now at cheap price

 

i thINK PSP's 10 year life cycle thing was threatened by PSP2's launch and that would have killed PSP and made SONY's moto of 10 years defunt so they will launch it most probably next fall when PSP is 7 years and is more likely to sustain 10 years thing

also 3DS dust would have settled by then

Nope diffrence beetween Wii and PS3/X360 is whole generation of hardware.

3DS is just a little bit more powerfull than PSP (look at whatever screens from anounced games there are 3DS looks better but PSP isn't that far behind).
