Remedy Working On New 'AAA' Xbox 360 Exclusive

Wednesday, 16 Jun 2010 - 08:53AM

A recent job listing has revealed that Alan Wake developer Remedy Entertainment is currently working on a new, AAA, Xbox 360 exclusive title.

The Finnish developers only released Wake last month, but it seems they're already looking to the future with a job listing in search of a senior designer.

It reads: "Remedy Entertainment, the creator of Max Payne and Alan Wake, and one of the leading independent game studios in the world is now looking for a Senior Producer for a key position in a AAA console project."

So no word of a platform there, but if you scroll down the page, you'll see:

Categories: Producer / Director / Project Manager
Platforms: Xbox 360
Work Site: On site

Interesting. The game is likely to be in the planning stages, with a good heap of DLC still promised for Alan Wake, starting with "The Signal" which has been announced to be releasing on July 27.

Bets on Alan Wake 2. I still haven't played the first one, I'll get it once it gets cheaper.

Double post.

Amazing. Alan Wake is the gens best game so far. Bring it on Remedy.

Who said M$ has no exclusives for the core gamer ?

They havent designed it yet and they call it an AAA title?this is ridiculous..

See you in 4 years then... ;)

good news.

i wouldn't mind playing alan wake 2 with more variety instead of spending most of the time in the forest.

anyway, MS should just go ahead and acquire Remedy and Silicon Knights.

Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^

How is it ridiculous? "AAA" means high production values.

Please...stop Remedy. I couldn't stand Alan Wake. Thank god Silent Hill 3 is coming. Good lord.
