Would it KILL square to release a Versus XIII trailer at SONY's E3?!!!?!?!?!?!

Even a 10 second clip of the main characters shoes would have held me off till TGS

{suicides}

Well, Nomura did say that VXIII wouldn't be here on E3. It will have the biggest impact on TGS. That's what i'm hoping for, at least. Lufia wasn't shown too

Lufia's at Natsume's booth since they're publishing it.  Ditto for DQIX and Nintendo.

Nintendo could have shown Lufia at their presentation. But they didn't as well. Natsume's the publisher for NA and not S-E? Because as far as I know, S-E published it in Japan, with Taito.

Natsume picked up the US version, SE isn't doing anything for it.  And honestly, Nintendo's presentation was so tightly focused, it's no surprise they wouldn't feature something like Lufia (low brand ARPG from tiny niche publisher).  I mean they DID have DQIX and Golden Sun DD there, which is a lot of JRPG coverage considering how little focus they gave DS.

Lufia is a low brand and Golden Sun isn't?

Lufia was one of the best SNES rpg series that still has a very loyal fanbase. Just like Golden Sun has.

I'm not saying they should have focused on one or the other, i'm just saying that it was a shame that they didn't show more of it, since we already know it's coming soon (sooner than Golden Sun at least). Oh well, I'll try to see the Natsume's booth coverage, if there's any.

Mindjack looks way cool. feelplus seems to be a real workhorse!

Yeah, I'm excited for Mindjack.  I've been following it ever since that "Nerkas" trailer got leaked.   What it looks like, and I'm not sure of this, is that in co-op move, you can basically force your way into a singleplayer game?  It says "moves from singleplayer to multiplayer" in the website, but that would be awesome.

Sort of like invading someone's game in Demon's Souls? That sounds sweet.

Each Golden Sun also sold over half a million units in just the USA.  If pretty sure all the Lufia games combined worldwide haven't sold half a million.  Just saying...

Siliconera is covering Natsume's booth though, I'm sure they'll have a Lufia writeup.  Keep your eyes peeled.

We have no data relative to both games, but that's besides the point. I'm talking about quality. Worse GBA JRPGs sold better than the GBA Golden Sun. Do they make it a better brand than GS? Nope.

Lufia and Golden Sun are pretty much tied in terms of following and fan-base remembrance, which is why they even got the original Lufia and Lufia 2 team to make the remake/re-telling of Lufia 2.

Only difference I can see is time separation between the series. As Golden Sun is a much recent successful series, I can find some logic in Nintendo having a much larger approach on it than Lufia.

I'll be taking a look at Siliconera, thanks for the heads up

3rd Birthday is the only thing on my radar since KH has lost my interest ever since it started getting milked and I don't approach anything with FF in its name; Mindjack has an interesting premise, though
