Forums - Sony - PS move Pricing announced

very cheap $49.99 for the move

$99.99 for

move, demo disc, ps eye, and sports champions

$399 for

250gb PS3 , move, ps eye, demo disc, and sports champions

not really.

Let's take it from the point of view that you already own the console.

Kinect is rumored to be $149 w/ the basic game. That's it. 1 or more players only $149.

Move would be $99 plus $29 for navigator. For one player. Another $70 if you want two players. So, right off the bat your hitting anywhere from $150 (if you don't buy two navigators) or $210 w/ navigators.

That's only two players. Then there are the limitations where you can't use 4 wands and 4 navis. So if a game uses the navi/ds3 you're stuck to 2 players. (Wii even outdoes that).

Both are priced too high, but I have to admit that at face value and demo products shown, Kinect is probably going to do better than Move. But, both won't push the expanded audience away from Wii.

MOVE is not $99 PLUS NAVIGATOR but with it in the bundle

and a normal consumer doesn't really look at how many he will be able to play with but will he himself be able to play it

also MOVE will have a lower price if NATAL makes impact as MS KINECT conference affected MOVE price

It's the exact pricing that was rumored earlier.  Unfortunatley there was nothing revoultionary with Move.  Are HD visuals going to be enough for the casual Wii player to upgrade to the PS3 at this cost.  My crystal ball says know. I Just don't see enough value at this point and Sony doesn't have Mario.  $199 for a Wii with all the trimmings just became a whole lot more enticing after Move and Kinect's pricing.

all the times i saw people buying extra wii controllers at best buy.  nothing dif here.

Price is fine for how much you get.

didnt expect to pay 80 buck for the extra wand and nav, i figured i could get them both for around 65 but it looks amazing so ill get it.

I don't think you're right. Here's the link to the vgchartz article stating otherwise.

Right, I'm not sure why there is complaining about the price...pretty much what I expected,i'm getting it.

After seeing sorcery I just have to buy it regardless of the price and I'm going to end up paying around $200 but who cares as long as I have fun.

Surely they'll bundle this with real games for $100 - ie. SOCOM (wishfull thinking at that price?). Not that much interested in PS3 sports or whatever it is. Looks awesome, though. It will make FPS games more enjoyable.

This is not an exit.

Your correct even IGN and GameTrailers is saying no navi.

I luved reading all the hate threads these guys had about kinect...now they can eat thier own words.

I was excited for both Move and kinect...now I have to rethink Move....I didnt see a great luanch line up for it at all.... and price...sheesh...

Kinect...rumored 149$*which is 99% the real price* that will handle upto 4 players..and its added stuff like controling netflix etc...Comes with a game..

Move...just for me and my girl...

100$ bundle plus 29$ navi...

now she needs a set up too....49$ 29$=78$

Total 207$.... tax at 10% grand total 220$....gonna be a tuff price point..

I have some friends id luv play put they gonna have to get thier own controller...I will not spend 400$ for 4 folks to play*thats 2 more set ups added to above...*

Oh and the magic game..that comes sometime 2011...
