Forums - Microsoft - If you buy the new 360 model....

I actually like the new design, but why couldn't they go for a slot like Wii and PS3 rather than another tray?  Are trays that much cheaper or something?

On another note - I presume the flood of videos like this is from journo's and the like who got them free yesterday?

If so and many more vids like this turn up MS might regret giving so many people with the desire (and job) of poking holes and mucking around a console that quickly!

To be fair, moving it around when playing is pretty stupid - but then as we all know people take mobile phones for a swim then phone their provider to complan it's stopped working!

I'm personally more interested in whether jumping around playing a Kinect title too close to where your 360 is sitting could produce something similar - that would be a problem.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

lmao.

"Why does everyone ask about Chrono Trigger? (responding to a comment about the title being loved) That's not what the sales tell me! If people want a sequel, they should buy more!" - Square Enix Senior Vice President Shinji Hashimoto

Does it come with a wired or wireless controller?   People could easily give an accidental tug that way.  If its wireless, though, there shouldn't be a problem...

as i said in the other thread, people looking for any reason to diss the 360. Try harder guys. Cause I know when I play my consoles I like to lift them and shake them around, yeah right. What a joke thread.

what if you accidentally move it while playing kinect? What would happen then ?

I can Move my PS3 when in motion and it doesn't do that. MSFT uses shit drives.

hahahaha nice way to screw your customers! xD

Yeah, Im definitely not buying a console again until Im able to juggle it around my head whilst the disc is spinning.

Wait, is that actually the point of buying a games console in the first place........? Im confused

As long as it copes with vibration, this doesn't really matter.

How would you accidently move it? You mean accidently knock it over? Probably what happens with most devices that fall, it may or may not break depending on the fall

People are getting defensive here, you think this video is not worth posting? at least now some of you are warned and know that they need to not to move it when it's playing, I mean you could've been the guy in the video and got your disc scratched.
