No one but bored, reclusive gaming addicts take the time to post their worthless opinions (I am on vacation).  It's laughable how vocal the core demographic has become - the exact same demographic that continually bashes the wii, Just Dance, and things that bring gaming to the masses.  I'm glad everyone is moving to casual stuff, not everyone has the time or the patience to learn how to develop the fine motor skills to manipulate a controller.

The marketplace will decide whether or not to embrace kinect.  Haters will keep on hating, as usual.

Just curious, but how does ~ 1/2 second delay, assisted steering, and automated acceleration/braking = Core gaming?

We've still yet to see game types beyond ones where you flail your arms around like a banshee trying to hit a ball or jump over river rocks.  While that's pretty neat that they can register things like that....It's not a game changer (certainly not for $150).  The game types for Kinect will be limited and probably ridiculously average. 

It's kind of like the pouring water for the monkey and feeding him on the Eyetoy.  It's pretty meh overall. 

I firmly believe Kinect will become the next 'Sega CD'.   The similarities are kind of shocking IMO.

Try actually thinking about what he said instead of trolling his post.  Using a controller requires a modest amount of hand eye coordination and for many games there is a precision element that makes pickup and play impossible for someone not experienced with joypads. 

The whole M$ Conference is people pretending and move according to the 'video' on stage, not playing the 'games', which makes it one of the worst presentation in E3 history.
