I think you need to look at these videos from 1up and destructoid as they look and play the demo in person. Everything in the media breifing is being shown here and done by the press, plus more.

nobody is saying the game doesn't actually work. We are talking about the on-stage body(lip)-syncing.

You have been proven wrong in every single comment you have. Just go back to your waggle and last gen tech Wii and leave the future tech to people who want to experience it.

Future tech...like this ?

I'd rather stick to my standard controller than look weird..you experience it all you want.

but the so called "last gen" motion controller, move has more 3rd party support and a lot of hardcore games support it.

what the guy you quoted won't notice is that in the video her hands arein a completely different orientation than her actual hands. Then he will say it works and insult you.

still waiting to be proven wrong on any post. All I've gotten is people insisting that his hand is moving in one direction, when it moves in 2 directions, left, then right. People seem to be skipping the movement of his hand on his thigh moving left before he lifts it up to the right. It seems to be a misunderstanding but everything that was shown on stage was pre-recorded, and there are numerous threads and gifs showing just that. MS will even admit it soon.

IT DOESN'T MATTER IF IT WAS ACTED OR NOT. Click on the links posted above and you can see actual live demonstrations on camera of the Forza Kinect in action.

Sure, the video was probably pre-recorded.  Does it matter when the tech works as demonstrated?

I wrote earlier that it's kind of disingenous to do that at the conference. A lot of people agree. It's like lip-syncing.

well that's where we disagree. I like my demos to be real, especially during the presentations. Everything sony and nintendo showed was live. What does MS have to hide?

Nobody is talking about Move but since you are let me let you in on a little secret. Nobody is going to have over $400 to blow for one person to play Move $500 for two. If you already own a PS3, its still going to cost you over $100 for one person to play, for two people to play? $200.

I guess they wanted to avoid the disaster that was called Zelda. I really hope that it didn't malfunction that badly because of cell phone interference, because everyone has a cell phone.

A slip up like the Zelda one?

Yeah, I don't know what happened with that, but kinda makes me scared to be in a plane considering where the bow and arrow kept pointing, planes have the same problem with cell phones. eek

I understand wanting to avoid those types of things, but that's part of the show. Otherwise you are just manipulating the audience.

Obviously nothing if it works like in the links. Maybe they just didn't want something like what happened to Zelda to happen to them.

edit: haha beaten twice. (because watching the football, I should have refreshed the page first.)

A cell phone is not going to bring down a plane. I guarantee there are plenty of cell phone addicts who cant stand to turn off their phones even while flying. They just wont work up in the sky.

Can't we all just agree that it may or may not have been prescripted to avoid malfunctions, but we know the tech works. Just like we know the Wiimote works even though Zelda screwed up. Obviously all of these game developers are horrible at their own games as demonstrated so I'm almost glad they are pre scripted because its cringe inducing watching these two left footed people play games.
