This thing will be in the closet after a few days, total gimmick like the Wii... oh wait.

Who ever said it was a gimmick?

Lately that would be JJSith and DJMasherJ.

@mr-money

no,

last month SMG released yet Ps3 beat wii...

that is a HUGE achievement like it or not

don't make silly excuses...

No its really not.  Do you expect to get a larger increase in sales from a huge title or a huge title, new SKU, and pricedrop.  Seriously its simply analysis.

It's still impressive that Galaxy was nullified but come on.  PS3 had more going on than Wii that month.

I realized that I overreacted without looking at the larger picture first. I try my best not to get caught up in that but I'm not perfect. It happens. I'm not proud of jumping the gun like that being such a plan-minded individual. I always use foresight & forethought to a maddening degree.

I had no doubt Wii Fit would have the "line around the block" presence I was expecting for SMG. The fact that some have commented on buyers picking up SMG along with the whole Wii/Wii Fit package lets me know that it was Wii Fit which caused the uncanny valley on the sales charts throwing off many of our expectations.

SMG will be fine in Japan & I shouldn't have worried so much. I got too caught up in the excitement & missed the big picture. But that reaction was a reflection not of bitterness that Mario Parties sell well but more that the tree trunk of all the branches didn't match. It was more like what are the spinoffs without the original show?

We forgive you, John.

With you at the first, with you to the last.

Just found out there is a boxing game in Wii Fit.

I'm so glad I could give this thread more activity.

I don't know why PS3 and Wii fanboys fight so much. They have so much in common it's not even funny.

Have you read some of your posts?

Yes we do, because I dont really see alot of people buying wii's on that line. Just wii fit.
There was actually a seperate counter for people buying both so you wont see many buying Wii's in them photos.

Those people that think they're perfect give a bad reputation to us who are...

"With the DS, it's fair to say that Nintendo stepped out of the technical race and went for a feature differentiation with the touch screen, but I fear that it won't have a lasting impact beyond that of a gimmick - so the long-lasting appeal of the platform is at peril as a direct result of that." - Phil Harrison, Sony

I get plenty of exercise in my daily life, but I'm still excited for wiifit. Why? Because it looks fun. I'm actually extremely excited and plan to have many hours of fun playing it with my girlfriend.

Smash Bros: 2363-5325-6342

I'm looking forward to it as I have a Thai Boxing injury and tore my Knee ligaments and have hours of endless balancing exercises to repair and strengthen them.

This may make them hours go a little quicker - Wiifit may juist end up in sport Physio centres all around the world one day.

BAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA YES! SUCK IT DOWN HATERS! THE END IS NEAR!

I for one welcome our new edutainment overlords!

LET THE COMMENCING BEGIN!

Yes it does.. nintendo ftw!!!

Yes it does what?  The only place I used the verb to be was in "THE END IS NEAR!" but if you were responding to that you'd say "Yes it is" not "Yes it does."  I have no idea what you're trying to say.

If English is your first language, hang your head in shame sir.  If it isn't, disregard this comment.
