If the lowest price you can get Kinect for (new) is $120 then MS really is just plain stupid.

I have no idea whether this price is true or not, but from this point on is the first time we'll see how the Xbox division is run without its three key people:  Peter Moore, J Allard, and Robbie Bach.  It's all Mattrick now.

Could be good or it could be bad.  Kinect will be the first test.

Peter Moore left Microsoft in 2007

J. Allard was working on the courier since 2006

The only one who recently left the division is Robbie Bach - and he will be replaced.

Eh, Allard was more involved with the Zune into 2007.  But those three made Xbox what it is, imo.  Bach was the last of the "old guard" to leave, thus now it's left to the self-clapping Mattrick.

Hahaha holy shit, didn't MS learn anything from Sony? If you price things too high nobody will buy them.

If that's the pricing then Natal...err...Kinect will fail as hard as the virtual boy.

If I were them I'd do about $69 for the low end one and $99 for the high end one. Any more than that is no good for the average guy like me.

Thats what I was going to say lol..

lol great minds think alike!

Well it looks like kinect will cost around $150 -- that's the price that Gamestop has it listed as and it matches a few European GAME stores listing it for ~150 euro....

Though i wonder if how it going to connect to non-slim 360's since the 360 Slim is being advertised as being "Kinect ready" and comes with a "kinect port"...

Must be pretty darn high if they didn't outright say themselves how much it is.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

Kinect has potential, but I still want to get the hands on test in stores myself...
