Forums - Nintendo - NMH2 already cheap on amazon

it's really unfortunate that this happened so quickly, i do wonder if it is desperate retailers holding onto copies they bought long ago or a price drop with a new shipment.  You guys can pick it up for $18 now with free shipping if you spend $25 on amaon, NMH1 is over $20, it seems that they stopped shipping for NMH1 because the price has actually gone up.  No excuses now guys.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

At my local Gamestop, NMH2 wasn't on the shelves, but rather behind the counter where you had to ask for it.

Seeing as to how the Wii shelves in your average Gamestop is completely flooded with titles (many of them, all horrible) and good Wii games are sandwiched in, finding games you know about it hard enough. Factor in the fact that "hardcore" gamers never heard of No More Heroes before, and Ubisoft/Rising Star did absolutely nothing to promote the sequel, this was bound to happen.

Heck, NMH2 isn't even coming out in Japan. Even though the sales would've been pretty low, it is still sales. It could've nabbed 30k...

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

I haven't bought any of the No More Heroes games yet,

Will I be condemned to an eternity of gaming hell for this sin?

Well, let's put it this way. If you don't buy the No More Heroes games, you'd belong to a group of non-NMH buyers. Members of this group include Jack Thompson, Michael Pachter, and Adolf Hitler. Do you really wanna belong in a group with members like that?

Well its not like your missing anything great if you missed the sequel. I stand by my opinion that the original is one of the best new games this gen, but the sequel was boring and uncreative. Go find a Red Steel/No More Heroes bundle and play the original if you havent touched the series yet.

NMH is not for everyone.

Actually, it's not for over 90% of the video game playing audience IMO; it really is a niche IP that will hold massive appeal to those in that small group, but little to those who aren't.

So either you know NMH is your kind of thing, or you may end up finding the series to be a massive waste of time if you have different tastes.

Loved the original; played it more than any other early Wii title. Would buy the PS3 port if it were available in the States. Never finished the second, but would buy a PS3 Move port anyway.

Probably about as mainstream as a Goichi Suda game will get, but if you don't know who 51 is, much less even care, that doesn't hold much weight.

in amazon uk its now £17.99 about 10 dollars in america but the sales rank went from 500 to 130

Yes, you will.

I love this game, as some other said its not for everyone, but I recommend you give it a try, if you like it, BUY IT!. If you don't like it recommend it to another friend maybe he will.

I already convinced a friend to buy it because it was cheaper, I will try to sell at least another copy, the game deserves all the sales it can get.

This is bad but not as much as another epic Wii game for under 7 dollars. That would be Madworld
